Purpose and operator

DeskAI Backup is operated by Yakir Hazan for private backup and recovery of his DeskAI system.

Google Drive data access and use

The utility uses Google OAuth authorization to access Google Drive. It processes backup file contents and repository metadata to upload, list, read, verify, restore and remove backups. Access is used for backup and recovery operations.

Storage and protection

Backup contents are encrypted by restic before upload to Google Drive. OAuth credentials are stored on the backup system to allow unattended operation. These credentials and backup contents are not published on this website.

Sharing

Google processes data as the Drive storage and authentication provider. The operator does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Backup data is not made publicly available.

Retention and deletion

Backups are retained according to the operator's configured retention policy. The operator can remove backups and local credentials. Revoking authorization stops future authorized access but does not automatically delete existing backups.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked through Google Account third-party connections.
